May 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Agriculture The Sustainable Qadisha Programme aims to promote environmental sustainability, heritage preservation and responsible development in the Qadisha Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Lebanon. It focuses on protecting the natural and cultural resources of the valley while supporting local communities through ecological practices, sustainable tourism and infrastructure improvements. This project is based on partnerships between French and Lebanese institutions and organizations and the federations of municipalities of the cazaas of Bcharré and Zgharta.
