Special Repairs To Street Light Timer Panel With Other Connected Items And Special Repairs/ Replacement Of Bedi Water Supply Lines At Certain Location At Ins Valsura, Jamnagar - Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed. 2 Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed. 3 Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtsand depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as directed. 4 Taking up or down old rusted/ worn out GI tubing & connections of 100 mm bore fixed in any position complete all as specified and as directed. 5 Taking up or down existing unserviceable Cast Iron Pipes of 150mm bore of any class including all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints, flanged joints etc all as directed. 6 Supply, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron (DI) Spun pressure pipes (Class K9) of 100mm bore (ISI marked) conforming to IS : 8329-2000 with internal cement mortar lining and external zinc coating (130 gm/sqm minimum) and bituminous finish layer (minimum thickness 70 microns) with socket & spigot ends with push on joints with & including EPDM rubber gasket laid in trenches in any length complete all as specified & as directed. 7 Supply, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing centrifugally cast Ductile Iron (DI) Spun pressure pipes (Class K9) of 150mm bore (ISI marked) conforming to IS : 8329-2000 with internal cement mortar lining and external zinc coating (130 gm/sqm minimum) and bituminous finish layer (minimum thickness 70 microns) with socket & spigot ends with push on joints with & including EPDM rubber gasket laid in trenches in any length complete all as specified & as directed. Notes for serial item No. 4 to 7 :- (i) The water supply line repair work to be carried out both in Defence Cantt as well as in civil area in any description and in different locations in full / part (ii) It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that repair work is no where hampered during any stage i.e.currency of contract as such contractor shall preparewell in advance byliaisoning with concernedState / Central department authorities under whose jurisdiction it lies, in no case work to be stopped in half way for want of permission etc in case necessary fee if any shall be borne by the contractor for which no extra payment shall be reimbursed. (iii) Necessary barricade, diversion boards and necessary safety signs etc as per safety norms shall be made & arranged by Contractor without any extra cost to Govt.(iv) During execution damage occurred to any sort structure etc the same shall be made good to its original specification by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (Notes contd....) 8 Notes for serial item No. 4 to 7 Contd/-(v) In case of road cutting inside Defence Cantt is inevitable the same shall be cut to required size and shape only after obtaining written approval of Engineer-in Charge, in no case road cutting be done without written approval of EIC. Vice versa if road cutting in Civil area is inevitable in that case necessary prior permission to be obtained from concerned Govt authorities. In case of any fees etc the same shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. The road cutting shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item here-in-after. (vi) Work shall be commencement and completed within the time slots allotted by EIC to the contractor for the said work. (vii) Engineer-in-Charge shall strictly ensure that the Work shall be carried out in batch wise portion of pipe line for replacement and span and ensure batch work shall be completed by contractor on the same day and pipe line shall be made ready for regular water supply in case the same is inescapable alternative / temporary arrangement shall be made by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt as directed by EIC so that regular water supply shall not be hampered. (viii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately. (ix) Quoted rate for various items in BOQ shall deemed to be inclusive for the above as said in above Notes, no extra what so ever shall be entertained by the department. 9 Supply & fixing cast iron body sluice valve heavy duty class ‘PN-1.6’ of 100 mm bore, ISI marked with IS 14846, both flanged ends and drilled, high tensile stainless steel spindle, CI gate with brass ring, non rising type, cast iron wheel handle, cast iron cap, with 3mm thick neoprene rubber gasket joint and nuts, bolts (high tensile), washers etc, and testing, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable sluice valve of 100 mm bore, complete all as specified & as directed. 10 Supply and fixing Ductile Iron fittings, specials (K-12) such as bends, tapers, collars, reducers, tee pieces (single or double branch) any type, angle/radius and straight connecting pieces etc (ISI marked) conforming to IS-9523 for flanged/socket and spigot ends suitable for DI pipe upto 150 mm bore, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed. 11 M&L for cutting of existing PCC floor / hardstanding / Interlocking tiles path / WBM road with soling & premix carpet of any description for removing / laying UG Cables/ pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 120cm and width 55cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 20cm with existing aggregate obtained from cutting, watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide with & including 20 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed including re-setting of interlocking tiles/ Paver block (where required) complete all as directed. 12 M&L for construction of Valve pit chamber of size 900x900x900mm internal dimension including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundation, brick work with old size fly ash bricks in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4internally and externally flush pointed in same mortar as work proceeds, 75 mm thick PCC coping all round in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), flooring shall be 40 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate laid over 75 mm thick hard core.Top cover shall be made out of MS sheet 3.00 mm thick fixed in angle iron frame made out of angle iron size 40x40x6 mm with two number of hinges on one side and locking arrangement at other side complete including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed including dismantling of old existing unserviceable vale pit chamber.Note : Any minor modification where required at site shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. The decision of GE shall be final and binding regarding extent to which the change can be considered as minor. 13 M&L for filling approved dry river sand for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable in trenches 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm deep over the cable and punning to 18 cm total thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Notes :-(i) Approved dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used.(ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured. 14 Taking down carefully old existing LT PCC Cable Cover of Class LV of any type & size complete all as specified & as directed. 15 Laying only LT PCC cable covers of any type & size for protection of UG LT electric cables in trenches, obtained serviceable from serial item No. 13 here-in-above, complete all as specified & as directed. 16 Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class LV, Type-1, Flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm for protection of underground electric cable in trenches complete all as specified and as directed. 17 Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 35 sqmm 3.5 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable complete all as specified & as directed.Note : Sand cushioning, cable protection covers, protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. 18 Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 16 sqmm 4 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable complete all as specified & as directed.Note : Sand cushioning, cable protection covers, protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. 19 Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 10 sqmm 4 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable cable complete all as specified & as directed.Note : Sand cushioning, cable protection covers, protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. 20 M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 80mm bore light grade, ISImarked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls etc with required size of flat iron (minimum 25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of HT/LT electric cable including taking down old unserviceable protection pipe with clamps complete all as specified & as directed.Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately. 21 Disconnecting, dismantling & taking down old unserviceable Panel Box of any size & capacity including all fixtures/accessories and Supply, installing, commissioning and testing factory made and tested (CPRI approved manufacturer) new outdoor type LT Timer Switch Panel Box cubical type of suitable size (minimum depth 400mm) to accommodate the following accessories, 415 Volt, 3 Phase & neutral, 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply system, made out of 3.15 mm thick MS CRCA sheet (outer body, doors, etc), inside partitions & cover made out of 2mm thick MS CRCA sheet, with modular hinges, powder coated inside & outside with 7 tanks process in approved shade, protection class IP-66 with coloured insulation sleeve, rubber gasket, insulators, outdoor type, totally enclosed, weather, dust and vermin proof as per IS, Front & Rear opening with double door shutters having suitable aldrop bolt locking arrangement, with insulators, including internal wiring with PVC insulated stranded copper conductor FRLS cables of appropriate size as directed with proper ferrule & cable glands including connecting incoming and outgoing cables, including danger notice plate, necessary PCC 1:3:6 type C1 in foundation and frame made out of 65 x 65 x 6mm angle iron grouted at minimum 45cm above ground level and 30cm below ground level, comprising & including the following accessories complete all as specified and as directed :-(a)MCCB 63 Amp, 4 Pole, 25 kA, 415 Volt grade, AC, 50 Hz, adjustable Thermal - Make of Pole: Bajaj Cat No. BOP-6030 (BOPH-6030) or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix B here-in-after.Note: Earth work and PCC foundation shall be measured & paid for separately. 28 Taking down existing street light fitting of any description and S&F new 90 Watt LED street light fitting, High Efficiency, minimum IP 65 protection, CCT - 5700K, system lumen efficacy = 110 Lm/W, Power factor = 0.95, powder coated pressure die cast aluminium housing, top opening with separate driver compartment and clear PMMA/polycarbonate/toughened glass heat resistant cover, fixing to existing bracket including nut bolts, connected with & including 2.5 sqmm, 3 core PVC insulated sheathed copper conductor cable from Junction Box to light fitting and electrically connected to the existing system and testing on completion complete all as directed. 29 M&L in repair for street light bracket made from MS tubing in required size & shape at site, cut to length, bend to shape required and suitable for existing street light pole and fixing the bracket to pole with MS flat and nuts and bolts and finally painting the exposed steel surface with two coats of first quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chromate primer complete all as directed. Notes :-(i) Size, section and shape of MS pipe shall be as directed. (ii)Quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of painting.
