The Existing Bridge Facility Is Double-Span With Span Lengths Of 9+20M. The Superstructure Is A Beam, With One Rib Of Variable Height, On Which A Double Cantilever Plate Is Executed. The Width Of The Slab Is About 340Cm With A Clear Distance Between The Steel Railings Of 300Cm. The Abutments Of The Bridge Are Single Columns With A Complex Cross-Sectional Shape, Streamlined With Respect To The Current Of The River. From The Railway Station Side, The Superstructure Is Directly Connected To The Adjacent Terrain. The Approaches To The Bridge From St. Maritsa Are Two Staircases With A Reinforced Concrete Structure, Which Imply A Difference In Level Of About 300 Cm. On The Southwest Side, The Bridge Is Connected To The Pedestrian Underpass To The Railway Station, And By Means Of Two Stair Arms And To Blvd. Tsarigradsko Shose. The Elevation Is About 500 Cm. On The Bridge, Outside And On The Parapet On The South-East Side Of The Bridge, There Is A Steel Pipe For Wires And There Are Two Pylons For Passing Wires. There Are Areas Of Disturbed Concrete Cover And Partially Corroded Reinforcement Along The Underside Of The Beam And Slab On Both The Bridge And Stairs. The Pavement Of The Bridge And The Stairs From The Street. Maritsa Is In Relatively Bad Condition. Leaks And Leaching Of Free Lime From The Concrete On The Underside Of The Road Slab Were Found, Which Is An Indication Of Poor Waterproofing Of The Pavement And Lack Of Reliable Waterproofing. The Railings Are Badly Corroded. Especially For The Stairs, The Concrete In Their Bearing Areas Is In Poor Condition. Currently, There Is No Access For Disabled People On Both Sides Of The Facility And It Does Not Meet The Regulatory Requirements For An Accessible Environment. The Purpose Of The Assignment Is To Strengthen The Structure Of The Now Existing Pedestrian Bridge, Including Resists And Approaches To It; To Strengthen The Slope At The Abutment Of The Facility; To Provide Access Within The Scope Of The Project To Disadvantaged Citizens And Mothers With Prams To The Various Levels Of Connections Between St. Maritsa: - The Existing Tunnel Transition Under Blvd. Tsarigradsko Shose And The Railway Line To Kostenets Railway Station, As Well As Between St. Maritsa And Blvd. Tsarigradsko Shose According To The Current Regulatory Requirements. The Planned Activities Are Described In Detail In The Investment Project For The Site Strengthening And Reconstruction Of A Pedestrian Bridge To A Hospital In Kostenets And Adjacent Retaining Walls And In The Technical Specification For The Present Procedure.
