With This Tender, The Provision Of Consulting Services As Part Of The Future Kunstmuseum Bern Project For The Client Is Procured By The Person Responsible For The Function “Project Manager Client” (Pl Client). The Basis Is The Sia Standard 101 “Regulations For Building Owners’ Services” (2020-08 1St Edition). All Services In The “Pl Bh” Column Are Decisive. The Bern Art Museum Was Founded In 1849 And Is One Of The Oldest And Most Important Art Museums In Switzerland. The Collection Includes Over 4,000 Paintings And Sculptures As Well As Around 50,000 Drawings, Prints, Photographs, Videos And Films. From 2022, An Internationally Oriented, 2-Stage Architectural Competition Was Held. In The Summer Of 2024, The Project By The Architect Team Schmidlin Architekten (Zurich And Engadin) Was Selected For Further Work (Https://Www.Kunstmuseumbern.Ch/De/Zukunft). After The Competition Contract Has Been Legally Awarded, The First Step Is To Secure Financing For The Project. The Project Loan Is To Be Submitted To The Grand Council In Its March 2025 Session. If The Optional Referendum Is Approved And Expires, The Project Planning Decision Can Be Expected In August 2025. According To The Rough Schedule, The Project Planning Would Start In September 2025. The Pl Client, As The Clients Overall Project Manager, Leads The Project Organization, Which Is Expected To Be Formed By The Sub-Projects Operation, Use And Construction (The Structural Organization Is The Subject Of Current Clarifications And Determinations), In Addition To Internal And External Staff Functions. The Construction Sub-Project Is Managed By The Overall Management Of The Commissioned Planning Team.
