REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF SOLAR HEATERS, ELECTRIC GEYSERS AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS IN SEKHON VIHAR AREA AT AF STN PALAM UNDER GE (AF) GURGAON NO. 1. ; 2 Supply and fixing in replacement of GI pipe, medium grade, ISI marked, 15 mm bore including all fittings and fixing arrangements all as specified and directed. 3 Supply and fixing in replacementGI pipe, medium grade, ISI marked, 20 mm bore including all fittings and fixing arrangements all as specified and directed. 4 Supply and fixing in replacementGI pipe, medium grade, ISI marked, 25 mm bore including all fittings and fixing arrangements all as specified and directed. 5 Supply and fixing in replacementGI pipe, medium grade, ISI marked, 32 mm bore including all fittings and fixing arrangements all as specified and directed. 6 Supply and fixing in replacementGI pipe, medium grade, ISI marked, 50 mm bore including all fittings and fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed. 7 Supply and fixing in replacementGI pipe, medium grade, ISI marked, 80 mm bore including all fittings and fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed. 8 S&F in replacement of gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends to iron pipe and fixed to 20 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed. 9 Allas per srl item No 7 here-in-before but for size25 mm bore. 10 Allas per srl item No 7 here-in-before but for size32 mm bore. 11 Allas per srl item No 7 here-in-before but for size50 mm bore. 12 Allas per srl item No 7 here-in-before but for size80 mm bore. 13 Supply and fixing in replacement of 20 mm Ball brass valves, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixedcomplete all as specified and directed. 14 Supply and fixing in replacement 25 mm Ball brass valves, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixedcomplete all as specified and directed. 15 Material & labour for PCC 1:2:4, type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for making rectangular cubes as per site reqmt for installation of solar collectors and support of hot water tank/ hot water pipes etc including necessary finishings complete all as specified and directed. 16 M&L for demolition of cement Concrete in any descriptiong below or above ground level/on roof as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed. 17 Servicing of Solar Water Systems bypouring the anti-corrosion/anti scaling agentsolutionin the make up tank to clear the water circulated pipes of heat convertors sets upto six solar panels of capacity 1000 LPD and drain out the solution by opening the nuts and bolts of dead plugs placed at the end of the system andmake the system serviceableas per site requirement 18 Material & labour for framed work, fabricated from structural steel sections including welding, bending, cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size and as indicated or directed having MS angle of size 40X40X4mm thickness on top for placing the collector panels/ water tank/supporting hot water pipes /ladders for approch etcinclusive of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and fixing in walls/roof etcNote: Cost of taking down/dismantling is deemed to be included in quoted rates by contractor. 19 Material & labour for inspection and checking offault in solar water heating system of 1000 LPD and rectify the fault including water supply pipe lines complete all as specefied and as directed by Engnr-in Charge. Note:- rectification of fault should be done on same working day 20 Material & labour for cleaning of solar panels toughned glass with detergent and after that with collin solution and make the glass completely clean including repairing of minor leakages complete. Note : (a) Cleaning of all blocks solar panel glasses should be done once in a month for entire 40 systems which is installed at sekhon vihar towers is consider as one job.(b) Labour /Cleaning material rates for the same shall be included in rate quotedby the contractor 21 Cleaning of 1000 ltr capacity PVC solar water tanks forwith bleaching powder/non toxic solution throughly including removal of sand , clay silt, or any other material from inside the tank and making date of cleaning on tankcomplete all as directed. 22 Supply and fixing in replacement hose pipe clamps as per existing size up to 32 mm dia pipe complete all as specified and directed. 23 Supply & Fixing of Nut, M6 (Stainless steel) complete all as specified and directed. 24 Supply & Fixing of Bolt, M6 x 25, Hex Head (Stainless steel)complete all as specified and directed. 25 Supply & Fixing washers, M6 x 25, Hex Head (Stainless steel)complete all as specified and directed. 26 Supply & Fixing of Collector Screws (Stainless Steel.)complete all as specified and directed. 27 Supply & Fixing of Gasket as per matching/ existing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 28 Supply and fixing in replacement of 25/32 mm dia hose pipe as per existing material sizecomplete all as specified and directed. 29 M&L for rectification of leakage from GI 20 mm size bore pipe line by cutting and removing old lengh of pipe, Supply & fixingnew galvanised iron pipe 20 mm bore medium grade pipe for stopping the leakage by making welding/replacemnt of necessary fittings of the same after drain out water from pipeline including insertion of pipe length upto 01 RM complete all as specifed and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 30 M&L for rectification of leakage from GI 25 mm size bore pipe line by cutting and removing old lengh of pipe, Supply & fixingnew galvanised iron pipe 25 mm bore medium grade pipe for stopping the leakage by making welding/replacemnt of necessary fittings of the same after drain out water from pipeline including insertion of pipe length upto 01 RM complete all as specifed and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 31 M&L for rectification of leakage from GI 32/40 mm size bore pipe line by cutting and removing old lengh of pipe, Supply & fixingnew galvanised iron pipe 32 mm bore medium grade pipe for stopping the leakage by making welding/replacemnt of necessary fittings of the same after drain out water from pipeline including insertion of pipe length upto 01 RM complete all as specifed and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 32 M&L for rectification of leakage from GI 50 mm size bore pipe line by cutting and removing old lengh of pipe, Supply & fixingnew galvanised iron pipe 50 mm bore medium grade pipe for stopping the leakage by making welding/replacemnt of necessary fittings of the same after drain out water from pipeline including insertion of pipe length upto 01 RM complete all as specifed and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 33 M&L for rectification of leakage from GI 80 mm size bore pipe line by cutting and removing old lengh of pipe, Supply & fixing new galvanised iron pipe 80 mm bore medium grade pipe for stopping the leakage by making welding/replacemnt of necessary fittings of the same after drain out water from pipeline including insertion of pipe length upto 01 RM complete all as specifed and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 34 M&L for descaling the heat collector panel (capacity 100 Ltr each) by descaling pump using commercial grade acid mixed with water in the ratio of 1:10 (acid : water) after opening / dismantling the heat collector panel from each other and re-fixing the same after complete cleaning including providing new nuts & bolts, gasket packing, worn out brass flange including brazing work , all other required hidden work for complete descaling 35 Supply and fixing in replacement of old flat plate solar collectors toughned GLASS as per matching existing type, including all fixing accessories complete. 36 Supply and fixing in replacement of old flat plate solar collectors frame BOX, including all fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 37 Supply and fixing in replacement of old flat plate solar collectors copper absorber, including all fixing accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 38 Supply and fixing in replacement of flat plate solar collectors of size 1992x1090x100 mm Complete puff insulated collector accessories complete as per matching/ existing.Make :ARINNA /Surya shakti India Pvt Ltd or equivalent out of make specified in List of makes 39 M&LAir termination single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia, 300 mm long fixed to angle iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 6 mm long with flat iron clamp of 25 mm x 3 mm and embeded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate block of size 200mmx200mmx300mm all as specified. 40 M&LAluminium strip 20 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground all as specified 41 M&L Galvanised iron strip 32 x 6mm buried in ground complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 42 Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre deep below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead GI strip of size 25x 5 mmby means ofGI bolts/nuts/washers, protected by 40 mm bore GI light grade pipe from earth plate & upto 3 m along pole fixed with 2 clamps made from mild steel flat iron 32x6 mm bolts, nuts & washers etc. Earth plate shall be surrounded by alternate layer of charcoal Since GI pipes, gate valves, solar tanks, collector panels and its connected items are located on the roofs and shaft of buildings of G+10 floors so cost of loading lifting has to bear by contractor and no extra payment shal be done this account. 2. while repairing / replacing gi pipes, gate valves and its connected items in the shaft contractor shall provide safety harness to the labour and its cost is deemed to be fit in qouted rates. 3. Any damages done while loading/lifting, mounting/dismounting of various items from/to the roof shall be bear by contractor only. 74 Notes:- (a)The amount of Rs143105/-against Schedule of Credit on Page No.114 to 115 shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch Awhile deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance.(b) The contractor shall provide and deploy sufficient mechanic with helpers (as approved by GE / Engr-in-charge) for maintenance of summer appliancesand contractors site supevisor/site engineer shall report at 0900 hrs daily excluding Sunday & holiday to collect the complaints & complete the same complaint detailed by JE E/M /Engineer-in-charge with in 12/24 hrs.(c)The complaints shall be rectified with in 12 hrs. (except repair/ replacement of major items like repair/ replacement ofgeyser geyser inner tankrepair work. These work can be completed within 48 Hrs), If the complaints is/are not done within the time frame as specified above the panelty of Rs 100.00 per complaint per day shall be charge from the contractor.(d)The decision of GE on recovery against penalty shall be final and binding and No representation whatsoever shall be entertained.(e) The Mechanics for repair of summer appliances can be called during non-working days/hrs (i.e. Sunday, Holidays & after working hrs) for any vital complaint at AF Station PALAM.(f) The contractor has to produce job card duly signed by user & JE E/M to Engineer-in-charge.(g) Any material required to be replaced for complaint rectification other than specifiedshall be measured and paid seperately under respective supply only items.(h) The contractor shall provide all the stationery required at complaint cell at Sekhon Viharcomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (j) supply only items shall be available in store and shall be issued as per the requirement . (k ) Any minor spares like screw,washer,insulation tape, nuts, bolts, fastners, gitti etc shall provided by the contractor at own cost. (l)Old Unserviceablegeysersshall be deposited in MES store.
