Description Of The Contracting Authority Scheldestromen Water Board Is A Government Organization Whose Tasks Are To Ensure The Flood Defense And Integrated Water Management (Water System And Purification Of Waste Water). Caring For The Roads In The Countryside Is Also The Responsibility Of The Water Board. The Water Board Is Led By The General Meeting And Daily Decisions Are Made By The Executive Board. The Official Organization Is Headed By The Secretary-Director. The Management Area Of The Scheldestromen Water Board Concerns The Area Of The Province Of Zeeland With An Area Of 190,273 Hectares, Where 381,000 People Live. The Main Locations Of The Scheldestromen Water Board Are The Offices In Middelburg And Terneuzen. In Total, Approximately 460 People Work At The Scheldestromen Water Board. This Concerns The Provision Of Personnel And Materials That Can Carry Out All Types Of Mechanical Maintenance And Modifications To Technical Installations (Including Parts/Materials) Of The Contracting Authority. The Tenderer Has A Suitably Equipped Workshop To Carry Out Certain Maintenance Work. Maintenance Work Is Carried Out In Consultation And Under The Direction Of The Contracting Authority. The Work Must Be Carried Out Within The Applicable Laws And Regulations. The Overall Work May Include: Maintenance Of Machines And Installations (Such As Pumps, Gearboxes, Rake Grilles, Hydraulic, Pneumatic And Gas-Containing Installations); Carrying Out Inspections On Machines And Installations; Carrying Out Overhauls Of Machines And Installations; Specific Activities Include: Assembly Work Welding Work, Both On Construction And Pipework, Both Stainless Steel, (Carbon) Steel And Aluminum Pipe And Fitting Work Welding Pipework Plastic Laying And Repairing Pipes Installation Work Construction Work Preserving And Coating Steel Making Simple Construction Calculations Adjusting Drawings And Preparing Reports Of Work Carried Out, Setting Up And Delivering Engineering And Work Preparation, Carrying Out Tests And Inspections. The Above Lists Of Work Are Not Exhaustive. Occasionally, The Contracting Authority May Also Request Other Types Of Mechanical Maintenance Work Via The Framework Agreement. The Contracting Authority Does Not Offer Complete Exclusivity By Entering Into The Framework Agreement, But Reserves The Right In Certain Cases To Assign An Order For The Overhaul And Maintenance Work To A Party Other Than The Framework Contractor. This May Include Warranty Or Factory (Supplier) Requirements, Expertise Or The Capacity Of The Framework Contractor. The Contracting Authority Intends To Enter Into A Framework Agreement With All Tenderers Who Meet The Suitability Requirements For A Period Of Two (2) Years, With The Option To Unilaterally Terminate The Agreement Two (2) Times For One (1) Year. To Be Extended Under The Same Conditions. The Intended Commencement Date Of The Framework Agreements Is May 1, 2025.
