Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services for Geotechnical/ Soil Investigation, Detail Design Review, Tender Evaluation, Construction Supervision, And Contract Administration of Warka 34 Communal Cooperatives B+G+9 Apartment Building. Bid closing date: On the 15 days starting from the bid notification date with a deadline of 12:30 pm Bid opening date: On the 15th day beginning from the announcement date on 2:00 pm Region: Addis Ababa Bid document price: 1000.00 Birr Bid bond: 100,000.00 Birr Consultancy service for Geotechnical/ Soil Investigation, Detail Design Review, Tender Evaluation, and Construction Supervision and Contract Administration of WARKA 34 COMMUNAL COOPERATIVES B+G+9 Apartment Building. In 2020, the Addis Ababa City Administration initiated the 70/30 development program to provide an opportunity to build apartments for condo-registered residents waiting for the government housing program. Under the 70/30 program, a resident is expected to save up to 70% down payments on the cost of a flat. The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia will cover the remaining 30% in the form of long-term credit. Based on the above program, 54 housing cooperative associations were established by the city administration, and 35 hectares of plots of land were given to them. Among the associations, one is WARKA 34 COMMUNAL COOPERATIVE. 1. The above-mentioned Cooperative association hereafter called "WARKA 34 COMMUNAL COOPERATIVE intends to hire a qualified Consulting firm to carry out Consultancy services for Geotechnical/ Soil Investigation, Design Review, Tender Evaluation, and Construction Supervision & Contract Administration for B+G+9 Apartment Building and the site is located at 6.4 hectareChefe Woreda 07 in Kality Sub City, Addis Ababa. 2. The Association now invites eligible and interested bidders, who fulfill the following requirements, to participate in the bidding process: The bidders shall have a certificate of registration from the Ministry of Works and Urban Development with Category GC-I renewed for 2016 E.C. Trade license renewed for 2016 E.C. Tax clearance certificate valid at least at the bid submission date and permits the bidder to participate in any public tender, and VAT registration certificate. 3. Bidders shall submit bid security for an amount of ETB 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand birr) in the form of a CPO or unconditional bank guarantee, it shall be prepared in the name of WARKA 34 COMMUNAL COOPERATIVE. 4.
