Infrastructure Works Consultancy Services – Consultant Agreements For Overhalingsspor Kalvebod. On 4 April 2024, The Danish Parliament Adopted The Act On Upgrading The Øresund Railway, In Which It Was Decided That An Overtaking Track Must Be Built At Kalvebod. A/S Øresund Has Been Tasked By The Ministry Of Transport With Carrying Out The Overhalingsspor Kalvebod Project. Several Feasibility Studies Have Been Carried Out So Far, And Material Relating To This Is Available At Https://Sundogbaelt.Dk/Forbindelser/Overhalingsspor/. The Purpose Of The Project Is To Establish A Facility Consisting Of Two Overtaking Tracks For Freight Trains Between Kalvebod And Ny Ellebjerg The Solution, And This Means That There Will Actually Be Four Tracks Between Kalvebod And Ny Ellebjerg. As An Option For Subcontract 2, A Turning Track Solution (Transversal) Is Included, Where Two Additional Switches And A Drivers Bridge Are Also Established, So That It Is Possible For Trains From Sweden To Turn Before They Reach Copenhagen H. The Two New Overtaking Tracks Must Be Established In The Existing Track Slope On The South Side Of The Track. The Tracks Branch Immediately South Of Julius Andersens Vej Near Vigerslev And Connect Again Immediately Before Bådehavnsgade. The New Tracks Will Be Established Parallel To The Existing Tracks. In Order To Create Space For New Tracks In/At The Foot Of The Existing Slopes And Ensure Future Stable Slopes, The Slope Is Moved Away From Existing Tracks By Establishing Piling And By Excavating The Entire Slope. The Excavation Must Be Carried Out So That The Slope Can Be Designed To Be Stable According To Current Standards. The Project Also Includes A Reconstruction Of The Hammelstrupvejbroen, So That It Can Accommodate Four Tracks As Opposed To The Two Tracks It Contains Today And The Replacement Of Two Footbridges Over The Track. The Two New Overhaul Tracks Must Also Have A New Running Current And Running Current Installation, Consisting Of Gallows Masts Covering Both Tracks, Established 1.6 Km Of Rails, Sleepers, Track Box And Neutral Section. The Current Neutral Section Will Have To Be Moved And Pump Station 2 Will Have To Undergo Some Remodeling To Make Room For The New Tracks. A Project Proposal (Programme Phase Report) Has Been Prepared Incl. Drawings, Documents And 3D Models For The Overall Project, See Annexes 3, 3.A, 3.B And 3.C. The Overall Project Overhalingsspor Kalvebod Is Divided Into Several Phases, And At This Time, A/S Øresund Needs Technical Advice. The Purpose Of This Tender Is Therefore For A/S Øresund To Purchase Consultancy Services. It Has Been Decided That The Consultancy Services In This Part Of The Project Must Be Divided Into Two Sub-Projects (Sub-Project 1 And 2), Which Is Why This Tender Includes The Conclusion Of Two Consultancy Contracts With One Consultant. Each Sub-Project Is Designated As Follows: Sub-Project 1 (Dp1) – Technical Advice Prior To A Total Contract Regarding Structures And Facilities, And Sub-Project 2 (Dp2) – Total Consultancy For The Main Contract Regarding Track And Running Current.
