The Subject Of The Order Is To Carry Out Extended Five-Year Periodic Inspections Of Selected Facilities, As Well As The Development Of Complete Bridge Facility Cards, Prepared In Accordance With The Currently Applicable Recording Standards. The Scope Of The Order Includes: 1) Extended Five-Year Inspections For 80 Facilities 2) Engineering Facility Cards For 75 Facilities The Engineering Facilities Covered By The Above Studies Are Located In The Wrocław County And A Detailed List Is Attached As Annex No. 1 To The Description Of The Subject Orders. The Implementation Of The Order Is Comprehensive And Includes Both Field Activities, Consisting In Detailed Inspection Of All Structural Elements And Equipment Of The Facilities, As Well As Analytical And Documentation Activities Related To The Assessment Of Their Technical Condition And The Arrangement And Completion Of Registration Data. As Part Of The Extended Five-Year Inspections, The Contractor Will Be Obliged To Make A Detailed Assessment Of The Technical Condition Of The Facilities, Identify Damage And Signs Of Degradation, Determine Their Causes And Impact On The Safety Of Use And Durability Of The Structure. The Results Of The Inspections Will Constitute The Basis For Formulating Conclusions Regarding The Further Operation Of The Facilities And Indicating The Necessary Maintenance, Repair Or Modernization Activities. At The Same Time, The Contractor Will Be Obliged To Develop Bridge Facility Cards, Constituting An Ordered And Complete Database Of Information About Each Facility. These Cards Should Contain, In Particular, Identification, Location, Geometric And Construction Data, Information About Equipment, Results Of Technical Condition Assessment And A Documented List Of Identified Damages. The Development Of Cards Must Take Into Account The Results Of The Inspections And Be Performed In A Uniform And Consistent Manner For All Facilities, So That It Can Constitute The Basis For Keeping Records And Managing The Bridge Infrastructure By The Ordering Party. The Implementation Of The Order Is Of A Control And Measurement Nature And Is An Element Of The Bridge Asset Management System. The Aim Is To Obtain Up-To-Date, Reliable And Comparable Information On The Technical Condition Of Facilities, The Degree Of Their Wear And Suitability For Further Operation, As Well As Supplementing And Organizing Registration Data In The Form Of Facility Cards. The Studies Prepared Are Intended To Enable Management Decisions To Be Made, In Particular In The Planning Of Maintenance, Renovation And Investment Works, As Well As In The Management Of The Safety Of Use Of Facilities.
