Quotation are invited for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Solar Vegetable Dryer 1 Type Enclosed solar dryer suitable for vegetables and fruits; indirect solar drying system preferred 2 Produce Suitable for drying tomatoes, okra, onions, leafy vegetables, fruits and other horticultural produce 3 Drying Capacity Bidder shall state the guaranteed/recommended fresh produce capacity in kg per batch 4 Drying Chamber 5 Drying Trays/Racks 6 Tray Material 7 Food-Contact Surfaces Enclosed, hygienic and weather-resistant, designed to protect produce from dust, insects, rain and other contamination Adequate number of removable trays/racks appropriate to the stated drying capacity Food-grade, corrosion-resistant and easyto-clean material; stainless steel preferred Food-safe, non-toxic, corrosion-resistant and easy to clean 8 Solar Heat Collection Efficient solar air-heating/collector system appropriately sized for the proposed drying capacity 9 Air Circulation Effective natural or forced-convection ventilation; solar-powered forced airflow preferred 10 Solar Power System Where powered ventilation is used, PV panel, DC fan/blower and all necessary accessories shall be included 11 Temperature Appropriate operating temperature for vegetable and fruit drying; bidder shall state the achievable temperature range 12 Monitoring Temperature indicator/thermometer shall be provided; humidity monitoring is desirable 13 Protection Air inlets/outlets shall be protected with suitable insect/dust-proof mesh or screens 14 Frame/Structure Strong, stable and corrosion-resistant structure suitable for outdoor conditions 15 Foundation/Base Appropriate concrete slab/base or equivalent foundation required for safe and stable installation shall be included 16 Drying Performance Bidder shall state the estimated drying time for representative produce such as tomatoes and okra under normal sunny conditions GASS GLOBAL AIM SOUTH SUDAN Page 2 of 6 * 31 AUG 2026 17 Cleaning & Maintenance Trays and internal surfaces shall be easily accessible/removable for cleaning and routine maintenance 18 Installation Complete assembly and installation at the project site in Jebel Ladu Payam, Juba County 19 Testing & Commissioning Supplier shall test and demonstrate the dryer to confirm satisfactory operation before acceptance 20 Training Basic practical training for designated users on operation, loading, drying, cleaning and routine maintenance 21 Documentation Basic operating and maintenance instructions/manual shall be provided 22 Warranty Minimum 12 months against defects in materials, fabrication, workmanship and installation 23 After-Sales Support Bidder shall indicate availability of spare parts and technical support 24 Delivery Period Bidder shall clearly state the proposed delivery and installation period Tender Link : https://comms.southsudanngoforum.org/c/tenders
