Tkub Is The Customers Construction Technical Client Support With Tasks In All Three Phases Of The Project (Planning And Procurement, Implementation And Handover). The Purpose Of Tkub Is To Procure Consulting Support That Can Strengthen An Active Client In Planning, Procurement As Well As Implementation/Follow-Up/Risk Management Of The Contracts. The Consulting Support Will Also Increase The Project Managements Ability And Capacity To Manage And Cooperate With The Contractors During Project Implementation. Examples Of Tasks Handled By Tkub During Planning And Procurement Are: • Preparation Of Request Documents For Other Contract Procurements. • Preparation Of Technical Studies And Documentation For Procurement. • Pre-Design Of Main Parts That Are Procured On A Turnkey Basis. • Project Planning Of Main Parts That Are Procured As Execution Contracts. Tkubs Duties In The Implementation Phase And The Handover Phase Are Adapted To The Chosen Form Of Contract. Examples Of Tasks That Can Be Handled By Tkub Are: • At The Clients Initiative, Participate As Expert Client Support In Meetings And Contractor Cooperation. This Can Include A Large Number Of Areas Of Expertise Depending On The Scope Of The Contract And Also Coordination Issues. • Ensure That Specified Technical Requirements In The Contract Are Taken Care Of. • Check On Receipt That The Contractors Prepared Documents Are Quality Assured Or That Deliveries Comply With The Standards And Specifications Referred To In The Construction Contract And That The Correct Certificates Etc.
