Tender For Annual Maintenance Contract Of Control And Instrumentation Systems And Equipments Of Tpp Units.; a) Control room instruments including Recorders, Scanners, Digital Indicators and Bar Graph Indicators, Totalizers and other panel mounted instruments. • Periodic calibration of control room instruments including recorders, scanners, digital indicators, bar-graphs, totalizers and other panel mounted instruments on strict schedule basis. • Repairing and attending break-downs in control room instruments (as mentioned in point 1.a) and various other panel mounted instruments. • Replacement of old defective instruments as mentioned above in point 1.a, when required. • Commissioning of new parameter including commissioning of new secondary instrument (as mentioned in point 1.a) as per requirement. • Keeping calibration & maintenance records of various instruments. b) Flow, Pressure, Level Transmitter. • Isolating the identified transmitter, transporting to & from the lab (for calibration) and re-fixing of transmitter which includes pressure, flow, level and temperature. • Calibration of various transmitters (as mentioned above in point 1.a). • Repair and attending break-down as various transmitters and other field instruments like RTDs, TCs etc. • Replacement of old transmitters and field instruments as per requirement. • Commissioning of new transmitters including cable termination as per requirement. c) Contact Manometer, Pressure Gauges, Thermocouples and RTDs. • Periodic inspection and cleaning, as a part of preventive maintenance job, of the local instruments (as mentioned above in point 1.a). • To ensure proper protective covering (plastic wrapping) of the local instruments (as mentioned in point 1.a) to avoid breakdown due to adverse environment conditions. • Commissioning of new local instruments including RTDs, TCs, and Pressure gauges as per requirement. • Removal of old local instruments (mentioned in 1.a) as per requirement. • Modification in scheme of existing system, if required. 2. Servicing, Commissioning and maintenance of electrical actuators including limit switch setting and position feedback system. It includes the following jobs: - a. Servicing of gear box of actuators. b. Periodic inspection and top-up of lubricating oil in actuator’s gear box. c. Servicing/ adjustment/ setting of limits as per need and on periodic basis as a part of preventive job schedule. d. Commissioning of new actuators. e. Attending breakdown of any form in actuators in all the three shifts. f. Periodic operation checking of reserve system actuators as a part of preventive job schedule. g. Adjustment/ repairing of feedback and commissioning of new feedback system as per requirement. 3. Servicing, Commissioning and maintenance of solenoid valves and level switches. 4. Servicing, Commissioning and maintenance of electromagnetic relays and contactors. 5. Cleaning and purging of impulse lines. It includes following jobs: - a. Steam purging of impulse lines. b. Periodic air purging of airline transmitter impulse lines. c. Nitrogen gas purging of impulse lines. 6. Replacement of defective cables between junction boxes to instrument panels, JB to field instruments and inside control room, which includes the following: - • Laying of new cables. • Glanding of cables, whenever required. • Cable termination in both ends including ferruling, lug punching and cable dressing. • Replacement of old defective cables. • Re-routing of existing cables as per requirement. • Dressing of existing cables or new cable on cable tray. 7. Removal/ Calibration of Oxygen analyzers • Calibration of Oxygen analyzer on strict schedule basis. • Weekly maintenance of purging air system and rotameter adjustment. • Regular inspection of probe and electronic system of analyzer is to be done on strict schedule basis. • Replacement of defective system. • Removal of system when required. 8. Repairing/ Maintenance/ Replacement of Control Panels/Instrument enclosures and Junction boxes, which include the following: - • Cutting the layout in existing control panel to fix/ mount the secondary instruments. • Patching the layout of old secondary instrument which is not in use. • Cleaning of control panels using blower/ vacuum cleaner during short shut-downs. • Cleaning of secondary instruments of control panel on daily basis. • Painting of control panel when required. • Tightening of terminals of JBs. • Erection of new JB or replacement of old JB, whichever is required. • Cable termination, rail and terminals mounting inside the JB. • Glanding of cables and plastic covering of JB to ensure the proper sealing of JB from dust and water. • Regular inspection is to be done on strict schedule basis. 9. Protection and interlock checking of different Equipment’s, Boilers and Turbo Generators. It includes the following jobs: - • To perform simulated protection & interlock checking of Boilers, Turbo Generators and various auxiliary Equipment’s and systems associated directly or indirectly with the production unit. 10. To maintain a clear record of testing and protection checking. 11. Modification of old instrumentation schemes, which includes the following: - • Identifying the required area of modification. • Preparing the related drawings for modification and designing the circuit or engineering drawing or both, whichever is required. • Implementing the above proposed system and perform loop testing. • Replacement of old system or cables, if required. • Perform protection checking and stimulated testing of the system. 12. Trouble-shooting in all the three shifts as per the requirement which includes the following: - • Working-personnel will have to be posted by the contractor in all the three shifts covering 24 hours on all days including Sundays & holidays so that the defect rectification job could be started immediately as soon as the problem arises. • A back-up group will always be ready even in odd hours to tackle the problem, if the front-line repair man feels any difficulty in solving the problem. • Keeping and maintaining the 24hrs shift log book register as well as ‘General Shift’ work register. 13. Replacement of defective low-pressure isolating valves/ manifolds. 14. Leakage attending and arresting of water and air lines. 15. Replacement of defective low-pressure impulse lines. 16. Keeping and maintaining all types of records.
