Project No. EWG_01_2025S Project Title 23rd APEC Workshop on Energy Statistics: Capacity Building in Conducting Household Energy Consumption Survey (Phase 1) Project Status Project in Implementation This annual workshop facilitates information exchanges and discussions among member economies, international energy organisations, and the EGEDA on current energy data and statistics developments. It will be held in-person in Tokyo, Japan. The Workshop is a capacity building for conducting household energy consumption surveys, comprising three phases. The 2025 workshop aims to develop survey instruments for end-use energy consumption surveys. Key discussions will cover sampling methodologies, the design of survey questionnaires, the preparation of an enumerators’ manual, and the implementation of pilot energy consumption surveys. A Project Summary Report detailing the workshop outcomes will be produced and shared with EGEDA and EWG members and will also be made available on the EGEDA website. |
