Project No. SCSC_06_2025S The United States will hold two virtual workshops on the APEC Food Safety Risk Communication Framework with a particular focus on the practical implementation of the Framework’s guidelines as it relates to pesticides and MRL establishment. This activity will build on the previous Projects I and II which covered government-to-government and government-to-public topics, respectively. This workshop series will facilitate discussion around practical examples of how economies apply each of the 5 guidelines, with specific focus on pesticides and MRLs to compile shared resources and facilitate consistency in the application of the guidelines across APEC member economies in communication with public and other governments. |
