This project proposes to resurface pavement by removing the top layer of worn, deteriorated pavement and replace it with new asphalt and fresh pavement markings. All proposed pavement work is expected to increase safety and provide a smooth riding surface for vehicular travel for the next 10 to 12 years. 1. Robert Moses Causeway from Ocean Parkway to the beginning of the Great South Bay Bridge in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 4. Robert Moses Causeway from the end of the Great South Bay Bridge to NY27A (Montauk Highway) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 5. Robert Moses Causeway Bridge Deck over NY27A (Montauk Highway) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 6. NY454 (Veterans Memorial Highway) from NY25 (Jericho Turnpike) to County Route 108 (Old Willets Path) in the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County 7. NY25 (Middle Country Road) from County Route 83 (Patchogue-Mount Sinai Road) to Coram Mt. Sinai Road in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County. |
