Project consisted of resurfacing eastbound and westbound I-70 from mile point 211 to the Eisenhower Johnson Memorial Tunnel (MP 213.27). Additionally, crews removed and replaced over 12,000 feet of guardrails and made drainage improvements throughout the project zone (MP 207 to EJMT). Project Benefits Creating a smooth roadway, placing new guardrails, and improving drainage are major elements to the overall improvement of travel time reliability, safety and mobility in the I-70 Mountain corridor. |
