| Project Name | US 287 Resurfacing: I-70 to 92nd Avenue |
| Project Detail | The Colorado Department of Transportation in collaboration with prime contractor Brannan Sand and Gravel will be performing a resurfacing project on US 287 (Federal Boulevard) between I-70 and 92nd Avenue. The work zone stretches between Adams and Denver counties. The project is anticipated to begin in March 2025 and end in November 2025. Crews will operate on one section of US 287 at a time in the following three sections: Section 1 is between US 36 and 92nd Avenue Section 2 is between I-70 and I-76 Section 3 is between US 36 and I-76 The projects primary goal will be resurfacing both north and southbound lanes using a mill and overlay processes. Additional construction operations will include: Improving concrete sidewalks and American with Disabilities Act ramps Upgrading traffic signals Rehabilitating the bridge deck over Clear Creek Improving drainage Performing permanent striping operations |
