Project Name Strengthening Evaluation Capacity for Better Results Project Number 58224-001 Country / Economy Regional Project Status Active Project Type / Modality of Assistance Technical Assistance Evaluation capacity development (ECD) and knowledge management are important parts of the mandate of the Independent Evaluation Department (IED). The 2008 Independent Evaluation Policy emphasizes the importance of ECD. ECD is also an important pillar in IEDs Strategic Directions, 20232026, which stress the importance of ECD for improving the influence of evaluation findings and for promoting a learning culture for evidence-based decision making. This technical assistance (TA) will contribute to deepening evaluation capacity and to strengthening knowledge sharing in order to improve institutional capacity and results. The proposed regional TA will support the evaluation knowledge sharing and evaluation capacity development of ADBs developing member country (DMC) officials and institutions. |
