The proposed project would assist the Government in improving health care in El Salvador, contributing to archiving Universal Health Coverage. The Project would improve access to quality healthcare services through multilevel interventions based on Primary Health Care (i.e., along the continuum of care strengthening promotion, prevention, treatment and specialized services, including palliative care services), as well as the development of a health networks model. The Project would also support the strengthening of the Ministry of Health´s capacity in key areas such as digital health transformation, human resources, and supply change management. (a) Improve access to quality healthcare services within a health system based on primary health care; (b) strengthen the operational capacity of the Ministry of Health; and (c) in the case of an eligible crisis or emergency, respond promptly and effectively to it. |
