Project Notice

PNR 68932
Project Name Project for Strengthening the Practical Capacity of Public and Private Veterinarian
Project Detail Mongolias agriculture and livestock industry (agriculture and livestock) ranks third in GDP after the service industry and mining, and the working population ranks second after the service industry. The livestock industry is particularly active and plays a key role in the countrys industrial diversification. This field is attracting attention as a promising field. In a country where meat is traditionally the staple food, livestock plays an important role in supporting peoples livelihoods. However, since the 1990s, many veterinarians have lost their jobs due to the dismantling of state-run farms, and as a result, livestock diseases have increased, and combined with damage from cold and snow, a total of more than 18 million livestock died in the 2000s. This cooperation aims to improve the quality of veterinary public servants in Ulaanbaatar City and Tuv Province by developing the infrastructure for veterinary-related institutions research and training based on local needs, strengthening their implementation capacity, and proposing training development and training courses. We aim to improve the practical abilities of doctors and private veterinarians. This will help improve veterinarians practical abilities through regular training.
