In Laos, strengthening the value chain of agricultural products is essential as the country focuses on promoting commercial agriculture. However, the current situation does not adequately add value to agricultural products due to issues such as low productivity, post-harvest processing technology, storage technology, low quality of agricultural products processing, lack of marketing knowledge, underdeveloped market trading system, and difficulty in accessing credit. This project aims to promote the commercialization of agriculture in Laos by supporting the creation of a master plan to strengthen the food value chain, including production, distribution, processing, and marketing, that meets domestic and international needs. |
