Laos Project Notice - Project For The Capacity Development Of Business Professionals And Networking Through LJI Phase 2

Project Notice

PNR 68917
Project Name Project for the capacity development of business professionals and networking through LJI Phase 2
Project Detail Japan established the Laos-Japan Human Resources Development Center (LJI) in 2001 to promote mutual understanding and friendly relations between the two countries as well as to develop human resources that will contribute to Laos transition to a market economy. However, there is still a lack of opportunities for Lao business executives to learn modern and market-oriented business know-how in a practical manner, and the ecosystem for producing start-ups is still in the process of maturing. This project aims to strengthen LJIs function as a hub for business human resource development and networking by creating a framework for sustainable and self-sustaining operation of LJIs business human resource development program, enhancing networking functions to promote cooperation between Laos and Japan and neighboring countries, and strengthening the organizational management system in terms of administration and finance. We will strengthen LJIs functions as a center for business human resource development and networking.
