| Project Name | FORGING WIDER ALLIANCES TO SUPPORT RURAL DEVELOPMENT IN GEORGIA (FORWARD) |
| Project Detail | The long-term impact of the project is that the level of cooperation and collaborative efforts of rural development actors in municipalities/districts of Georgia proper and Abkhazia is increased and that consequently the lives and well-being of the rural communities that they serve will be improved. This will be achieved by supporting Local Action Groups (LAG) to become recognized and reputable partners within the rural development ecosystem which is the intended outcome of the project. Expected results 1: Cooperation with rural development partners strengthened and joint projects financed & implemented. 2: Networking of LAGs improved and reputation as development partners increased. 3: Sustainability of LAGs enhanced through tailored capacity development measures. |
