Project No. OFWG_202_2024A Project Title Exchange of experiences in the development of indicators for ex-post regulatory impact assessment of regulations on fisheries management for jack mackerel and jumbo flying squid in the Asia-Pacific economies Project Status Project in Implementation The project regards to the exchange of the best practices and experiences on developing indicators for measuring the achievement of the objectives established by the fisheries management regulations of two resources with a critical presence in the Pacific Ocean, as part of the regulatory impact assessment process. The goal is to improve the capabilities to design and to apply indicators in order to efficiently conduct an ex post assessment of rules on fisheries management of jack mackerel and jumbo flying squid resources considering social, biological and economic dimensions with the aim at contributing to the sustainability, conservation and responsible use of these resources. |
