Reconstruction of a 29km long section of the M5 TEN-T road between Balti and Riscani. The project involves widening to 2+2 lanes and includes construction of five bridges and three grade-separated interchanges. Objectives This is a large allocation under MOLDOVA ROADS IV Framework Loan (2020-0537) signed on 31.03.2022 for EUR 150m. The project concerns the reconstruction of a 29km section of the M5 TEN-T Extended Core Network Road between Balti and Riscani. The project will improve accessibility, level of service and traffic safety on the corridor. Besides, the Project will improve the resilience of the transport corridor to climate change impacts.
