Rehabilitation of the lift station, including replacing three pumps. Reduction of human health risks by eliminating the possibility of wastewater backing up into homes or overflowing onto streets. Specifically, the project will ensure that approximately 1.73 million gallons per day (mgd) of wastewater is safely conveyed from the sewer system to the treatment plant. In March 2024, the City awarded a contract for construction of the project and began the process of ordering the equipment and other materials for project implementation. The equipment was delivered in September 2024, and work on the lift station is scheduled to begin in October. |
