| Project Name | Mine clearance and strengthening the implementation of the Ottawa Treaty in Cambodia |
| Project Detail | This project aims to reduce the threat posed by explosive remnants of war and improve the livelihoods of vulnerable populations in Cambodia. Project activities include: (1) surveying potential contaminated areas and conducting mine clearance operations; (2) delivering explosive ordnance risk education to impacted populations; (3) providing environmental awareness and agricultural development training to enhance the economic autonomy of women who both head households and own agricultural land; and (4) organizing and hosting an exhibition in Siem Reap on the margins of the 5th Review Conference of the Ottawa Treaty to promote the universalization of the Ottawa Treaty. |
