On December 2, 2024, IICA signed the Technical and Methodological Assistance Agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Ecuador to provide support in the execution of 10 products and 32 by-products provided for in the Technical Annex approved within the framework of this Agreement, and to be executed during the years 2024, 2025 and 2026, in accordance with the work schedule approved through FIDA No Objection ECU-20000002282-0061-CS/SS/12020. The project aims to work with 90 Small Producer Organizations in the provinces of Guayas, Los Ríos, Santa Elena and Manabía, achieving an impact on the sustainable development of 10,000 producers. General Objective: Provide specialized and complementary technical and methodological assistance for the Sustainable and Appropriate Development in Rural Territories -DESATAR- project, according to its components and thematic areas. Specific Objectives: Strengthen the capabilities of USP staff in the methodologies and instruments developed. Provide technical assistance for the development and implementation of Sustainable Human Development Plans, with a focus on gender and youth in Small Producer Organizations.
