The loan will finance the construction of up to 350 km of a sewer network and up to 50 km of a storm water network, including construction supervision services, in the city of Adiyaman, subject to the outcome of technical due diligence (Project). Project Objectives The Project aims to support the reconstruction and rehabilitation of essential wastewater network infrastructure in Adiyaman, a region severely impacted by the two catastrophic earthquakes with magnitude of 7.7 and 7.6 on February 6, 2023, which caused a widespread devastation across 11 provinces in southeastern Türkiye, severely disrupting the livelihoods of countless people. The Banks investment is intended to improve essential services in the region and support the long-term resilience and sustainability of the citys infrastructure. |
