Project Notice

PNR 67735
Project Name Project of Supporting to Connect Job Information for Vietnamese Workers to Work Abroad under Contract
Project Detail Viet Nam The government has been promoting basic policies to meet the labor demands of other countries while promoting overseas employment of its own workers in response to domestic unemployment and poverty, and has encouraged overseas employment as a Poverty Reduction strategy, especially in regions with high poverty rates. However, there is often insufficient information for those who wish to work overseas, such as information on the technical internship system and working in Japan, and there is also the problem of applicants paying exorbitant brokerage fees to unscrupulous intermediaries. Through the establishment of a new system for sending overseas work applicants to Viet Nam, promotion of compliance with related laws and regulations by sending agencies, and efforts to provide career support after returning home, this project will promote overseas employment in compliance with the revised Dispatched Worker Law and related regulations by allowing overseas work applicants to select sending agencies based on sufficient information. By doing so, we aim to improve the transparency of the dispatch program. [Overall Goal] Through project activities, transparency of overseas work programs will be improved. [Project Purpose] Through the establishment of a new system and the strengthening of efforts to promote legal compliance by sending agencies and related parties, those who wish to work overseas will be able to select sending agencies based on sufficient information, and overseas work in compliance with the revised Dispatched Worker Law and related regulations will be promoted. Outcome Output 1 Current issues related to the sending and receiving of overseas workers are analyzed, and effective methods are identified to ensure that overseas workers have accurate and sufficient information in advance. Output 2 Through the establishment of a new system, an environment will be created in which applicants for overseas employment can choose their own sending organizations without the need for intermediaries in a highly transparent environment. Output 3 DOLAB will receive feedback and complaints from overseas workers about sending agencies, Japanese supervisory bodies, and host companies, and will take action in accordance with the law. Output 4 Employment support for returnees will be improved through collaboration with related organizations and the implementation of a new system.
