Viet Nam is increasing with rapid economic growth Transportation ·It has been pointed out that infrastructure development is insufficient to meet the demand for energy and other economic infrastructure. In addition, it is essential to develop ports that can meet the increased demand for cargo that has accompanied the countrys rapid economic growth and expansion of the domestic market, and in addition, it is necessary to develop ports as international logistics centers.
This project will develop and disseminate port technical standards and related manuals at Viet Nam. This will improve the capacity of Viet Nam to formulate and implement national port technical standards and the technical capacity of port facility development and maintenance, thereby ensuring that the countrys ports are developed efficiently and robustly based on national port technical standards and improving the countrys competitiveness in the international port sector.
[Overall Goal]
Viet Nam The project aims to improve the competitiveness of the countrys international port sector by ensuring that the countrys ports are developed efficiently and robustly in accordance with national port technical standards.
[Project Purpose]
The capacity of Viet Nam counterparts (MOT, VINAMARINE) in the development and operation of national port technical standards will be strengthened and their technical capacity in the development and maintenance of port facilities will be improved.
Outcome.
Output 1: Port technical management capacity is improved.
Output 2: Technical standards for ports will be developed.
Output 3: Manuals for port technical standards are developed.
Output 4: Port technical standards and manuals are disseminated. |
