Project Detail |
Pakistans Sindh province has the lowest gross enrollment rate and primary Education completion rate among the countrys four provinces, the number of out-of-school children (OOSC) is high both in percentage and absolute number, and the gender gap is extremely large. It is also characterized by large disparities based on socio-economic conditions, such as low enrollment rates for girls from poor families in rural areas. Factors that impede the spread of Education in Pakistan include family factors (parents educational background and income, family composition, values for girls Education, etc.), Education factors (teachers, curriculum/materials, school management and facilities, etc.), and geography. factors (distance to school, safety of commuting routes, etc.). In this cooperation, we will work with parents and the community at public elementary schools in Sindh to prevent dropouts and improve learning activities from a gender perspective, and local government officials will support these efforts, mainly by focusing on Education factors. We will implement and disseminate continuing education activities in targeted prefectures in the state, contributing to the reduction of OOSC in the state. |
