This project seeks to build the capacity for implementing advanced technologies and policies related to high-efficiency electric fans in developing APEC economies. It aims to align with the directions of the APEC Putrajaya Vision 2040 to support efforts and policies to address all environmental challenges for a sustainable planet and to meet APECs objectives for reducing energy intensity, which emphasize fostering cooperation among member economies, understanding their R&D needs, establishing information platforms, nurturing Asia-Pacific intellectual networks, sharing R&D outcomes, and bolstering practical project collaboration. A technical experts group will evaluate and promote energy efficiency measures for electric fans and assess policy impacts. The project will also create a platform for sharing design experiences and enhancing training across the APEC region, with workshops to develop a roadmap for future efficiency management. |
