Project Detail |
Indonesia began implementing an infectious disease early warning and response system in 2009 with the aim of strengthening infectious disease surveillance. The system was introduced nationwide in 2015, but at the time of requesting this cooperation (March 2017), only 11 out of 34 states were operating it properly. There is an urgent need to strengthen early warning and warning responses, as they form the basis of infectious disease control, especially rapid response during the early stages of an outbreak. This cooperation aims to strengthen infectious disease surveillance in the target provinces by strengthening the infectious disease surveillance capacity of the Ministry of Health of the country and identifying, trialling, and verifying measures to strengthen infectious disease surveillance in the target provinces. Contributes to strengthening infectious disease surveillance. |
