The number of international passengers at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, has reached a record high of approximately 7.92 million, approaching the annual passenger throughput capacity of the airports first and second passenger terminals (8 million passengers). In order to meet this growing aviation demand, it is necessary to construct a third international passenger terminal, a cargo terminal, a multi-story parking lot, peripheral infrastructure including an approach road to the national highway, and expansion of airport security equipment facilities. This project will contribute to the promotion of Bangladeshs economic growth by building a new international passenger terminal and a cargo terminal at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, the capital airport of Bangladesh, to meet the rapidly growing aviation demand, expand the airports capacity, and improve its convenience and safety. The project will contribute to the promotion of Bangladeshs economic growth.
