Project Detail |
The APHI-GIN project in support of the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) in Guinea is part of a broader project proposed under the “Global Gateway Health Package” presented at the 6th EU-AU Summit, aimed at establishing or strengthening the performance of African Public Health Institutes by providing training and supporting research facilities. It pursues 4 distinct objectives: (1) contribute to the health and well-being of the Guinean population (SDG 3) through the provision of multiple public health services by high-performing state health entities; (2) establish/strengthen regional and international links between African and European Public Health Institutes (IPH) to develop research, training, policy advice and advocacy; (3) support the core functions, responsibilities and services of schools and institutes of public health; and (4) support the strengthening of the digital health capacities of the INSP. |
