| Project Detail | Project No. SCSC_05_2024S Project Title Relaunching the APEC RHSC KPIs: Measuring Progress on Regulatory Convergence Project Status Project in Implementation This project aims to reinvigorate the APEC Regulatory Harmonization Steering Committee (RHSC) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure progress on regulatory convergence in the APEC region through two phases: 1) Relaunch the KPI survey to highlight the RHSC’s impact; 2) Explore expansion of the KPIs for greater integration with the Priority Work Areas (PWAs). Phase 1 will retain the existing KPIs in a survey disseminated to APEC economies. The project overseer’s team will collate data in an infographic for presentation at the 2025 RHSC meetings. The project with support from Northeastern University and potentially other academic and private sector partners active in the RHSC will seek to publish the results of the KPI survey in a journal as a follow-up to the pre-COVID publication. Phase 2 will convene interested RHSC members to share strong KPI examples from the PWAs and identify best practices for KPI data collection and capacity building. |
