The technical assistance (TA) cluster on Supporting Debt Management and Transparency, consisting of five subprojects, was approved by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in November 2021. Subprojects 1, 2, 3 and 4 were subsequently committed in 2022, to support public debt management and transparency in Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, respectively. The proposed TA subproject 5 will enhance debt sustainability and strengthen public debt management in Central and West Asia through a multifaceted approach encompassing knowledge product preparation, internal and external knowledge-sharing sessions, policy dialogue events, collaboration and capacity-building activities, targeting government officials. This subproject aligns with ADBs Strategy 2030 priorities, particularly in areas such as governance strengthening and institutional capacity building. |
