The primary objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to enhance the institutional capacity of Mexicos Trust Funds for Rural Development (FIRA, by its Spanish acronym) by integrating and mainstreaming EbA principles into its strategic framework. The TC will help establish a robust governance structure within FIRA, while also building the capacities of its financial intermediaries. Furthermore, it will support the creation and development of new rural credit providers, known as para-financieras, particularly within agricultural producer organizations in southern and southeastern Mexico.
