The objective of the TC is to strengthen the resilience of borrowing member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean to external shocks as well as to increase their contribution to regional and global public goods. This will be achieved by reformulating the current eligibility for concessional resources using vulnerability-anchored criteria and by designing a system of incentives to help countries prioritize projects that contribute to regional and public goods. |
