AAWAZ II: Community Engagement Sindh Component. • The Partner is expected to provide high quality technical assistance (TA) and project management services to implement the community engagement component of the Aawaz II programme in Sindh province. This will cover operations in 5 districts of Sindh. The partner is encouraged to bring innovative practices and use Action Research modality to understand the social dynamics which drive child marriage, gender-based violence, exclusion of the vulnerable groups (transgender, people with disabilities and religious minorities) and to generate participatory innovations which help toward shifting these underlying dynamics and mitigating their worst effects. The partner is expected to provide a selection criterion of the proposed districts based on the mix of the following: incidents of GBV, child marriage, poverty, disability profiling, religious and ethnic diversity, mix of urban and rural communities. |
