Strengthening surveillance systems and risk management of avian influenza within the framework of One Health
General Objective:
Contribute to strengthening surveillance systems and mechanisms and mitigating the risks of the spread of Avian Influenza in Bolivia, adopting a comprehensive One Health approach that guarantees biosecurity, food security and economic stability in the poultry sector.
Expected Results:
The Ministry of Rural Development and Lands and SENASAG have basic information on migratory processes of wild birds, aimed at strengthening epidemiological surveillance in Bolivia, as well as helping in early detection and timely response to avian influenza. |
