The objective of technical cooperation TC is to exchange experiences through technical knowledge to strengthen the environmental and social oversight capacities of the Ministry of Environment team in Uruguay in the following technical areas: (i) Management of chemical substances, (ii) Management of environmental liabilities, (iii) Management of socio-environmental complaints, (iv) Sharing applied experiences and identifying potential improvements in the control of the pulp production sector; and (v) Developing proposals for enhancing environmental and social oversight at the institutional level in areas that are part of the knowledge exchange between Uruguay and Chile on Environmental Management of Chemical Substances. |
