Project Detail |
Contributing to a better structuring of the public health sector at the University of Abomey-Calavi in ??Benin is the ambition of the INSPIRE-UAC project, winner of the second edition of the "Africa - France Academic Partnerships" program. Led by the University of Abomey-Calavi and the University of Limoges, it aims to set up a professional training sector provided from the bachelors degree to the doctorate.
CONTEXT
Benin, supported by the Regional Office of the World Health Organization, aims to become a strategic center of excellence in training, research and expertise in solving major socio-health issues in Africa.
The University of Abomey-Calavi currently offers training in public health, both at the bachelors and masters levels. However, this offer must be restructured in order to better respond to the changing needs of the health and economic world linked to the epidemiological transition, new emerging diseases and health crises that Benin, the West and Central African sub-region have been going through in recent decades. The training
of field agents (bachelors degree) and managers (masters degree) is fundamental in the design, implementation and management of surveillance, screening, prevention / health promotion programs, and clinical and epidemiological research (doctorate).
DESCRIPTION
