CONTEXT
Committed since 2004 to the urban municipality of Mahajanga, the city of Mulhouse mobilizes the expertise of its services and Alsatian stakeholders to support the urban municipality of Mahajanga in the areas of local governance, civil protection, health and sanitation. It aims to optimize and perpetuate its operation by adopting a broader approach linking health, environment and risk prevention.
DESCRIPTION
The project proposes an action structured around three main components:
Consolidation of sanitation policies: contingency plan, “Health and environment” white paper, operationalization, equipment and mechanization of the waste treatment center, optimization of collection;
Optimizing the conditions for caring for the sick and injured: improving hygiene conditions, reception and care practices;
The establishment of a mechanism for the prevention and management of environmental, social and health risks. |
