| Project Name | Supporting the protection of marine biodiversity within the Eastern Tropical Pacific Ocean |
| Project Detail | This project aims to support Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, and Peru in their efforts to protect their unique marine biodiversity, coastal communities, and local communities, specifically women, Indigenous Peoples, and Afro-descendants. It does so through innovative Canadian satellite technology to support monitoring and enforcement efforts in reducing the threats posed by illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing activities, such as overfishing. |
