| Project Detail | The main objective of the Project is to develop a hydro power plant on the Gbedin Falls on the St. John River in Nimba County in the North Eastern part of Liberia.The expected outcome includes: o Increase access to electricity and to foster the use of renewable energy sources; o Improve annual electricity generation; o Increase access to reliable electricity; o Contribute to the reduction of electricity generation cost; o Increase of hydropower generation in the mixed generation; o Reduce the fossil energy consumption; and o Job creation. |
