This project aligns with the Putrajaya Vision 2040 economic driver of Innovation and Digitalisation, and aims to promote dialogue and exchanges on artificial intelligence (AI) governance among APEC economies, identifying the opportunities and challenges brought by AI, and sharing economies’ approaches to AI governance through exchange of information on policies, measures and practices in terms of AI development and governance. The project plans to carry out research and exchanges on AI governance and hold a workshop during SOM3 2025 in Korea. Governments, enterprises and relevant stakeholders of APEC member economies will be invited to the workshop to share ideas, policies and experience on AI governance. |
