The project consists of designing, maintaining and operating the water and sewage system in the municipalities of Paço do Lumiar and São José de Ribamar, in the state of Maranhão. The aim, in addition to universal water distribution, is to achieve 80% sewage collection and treatment for approximately 328,000 people. The financial plan consists of an IDB Invest loan of up to R$ 500 million, of which R$ 250 million will be guaranteed by the French Development Agency (Proparco) with a term of up to 20 years. |
