Project Name Developing Markets and Public-Private Partnership Projects in FCAS and SIDS Project Number 58378-001 Country / Economy Regional Cook Islands Fiji Micronesia, Federated States of Lao Peoples Democratic Republic Maldives Palau Papua New Guinea Samoa Project Status Active Project Type / Modality of Assistance Technical Assistance The TA will assist market development initiatives and public-private partnership (PPP) projects in Asian Development Bank (ADB) Developing Member Countries (DMCs) that are classified as Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations (FCAS) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The TA will support DMCs in markets development and in delivering PPP projects which are sustainable, resilient, deliver quality, and facilitate inclusive growth. The scope of the TA will cover markets development initiatives and policy support, transaction advisory services (TAS), project due diligence, project preparation and structuring, developing financial models, assessing project financial viability, preparing project documentation (including concession agreements and tender documents), assisting in contract negotiations, regulatory support, project monitoring and performing other activities as may be required by the clients. The outputs will contribute to markets development and sustainable PPP projects by addressing the specific challenges and requirements of FCAS and SIDS DMCs. |
